Pilltide

Privacy policy

Effective 6 November 2026. Applies to the Pilltide: Medicine Reminder app for Android (package com.pilltideapp.pilltide) and this website.

Pilltide is a medicine reminder and log. This page explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. There is no account, and we don't sell your personal information.

Your medicines and history stay on your phone

The medicines you add (names, strengths, schedules, stock counts, notes), the doses you mark as taken, snoozed, skipped or missed, and your settings are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us or to any server, and no one else can see them. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes them.

The doctor report is a PDF made on your phone. It is shared only if you choose to send it from Android's share sheet, and only to the app or person you pick.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Pilltide is free and shows optional rewarded videos and occasional full-screen ads through Google AdMob. Ads never appear on a reminder, a notification or after you mark a dose taken. Your medicine information is never shared with the ad service. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect:

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in Pilltide under Settings > Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Android settings.

Google's use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

No analytics

The app and this website use no analytics service. We do not track which screens you open, which medicines you take or how you use the app.

Notifications and alarms

Pilltide asks for permission to show notifications and to set exact alarms so reminders ring on time. Reminders are scheduled on your phone and need no internet connection or server. You can turn off repeat reminders for any medicine, or block notifications in Android's settings.

This website

This site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. The site sets no cookies and loads no trackers. Fonts are served from this site. The video loads from YouTube only when you tap play, and YouTube's privacy policy then applies.

Not medical advice

Pilltide reminds you and keeps a record. It does not check interactions or doses. Always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.

Children

Pilltide is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that concerns you, contact us below.

Data security and retention

Data sent to Google's advertising services travels over encrypted connections and is kept according to Google's policies. Data on your device stays until you delete it or uninstall the app.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date.
